The IIOA Council Member and former SHAIO President Dr. José M. Rueda-Cantuche leads the Input-Output, Global Value Chains and Productivity team in the JRC together with Aurélien Genty (one of the main authors of the WIOD environmental accounts and now leading research productivity activities).

They are seeking for researchers with expertise in Input-Output Economics and Productivity for giving support, among others, to the new EU Industrial Strategy, the EU Trade Policy Review, the EU Green Deal and the European Semester process.

Some of the topics currently covered include: the evaluation of the economic impacts of the Next Generation EU funds and Recovery and Resilience National Plans, Regional impacts, global value chains analyses, analysis of vulnerabilities and strategic dependencies, inter-country input-output tables and econometric input-output modelling, computable general equilibrium models, and productivity analysis related to intangibles, impact of employment protective legislations, long term impact of the crisis and structural change.
